I haven't been to a library in a while due to the shutdowns, but after looking through your blog, I decided to see if mine had any with Micheal's artwork on it. I got pretty lucky with two of them! Really excited to read them now since they're graced with his artwork! Those being Foundation and Black Sun Rising! Any other books you'd recommend with Micheal's work?
If you liked Black Sun Rising, the library might have the other books in the Coldfire Trilogy (When True Night Falls and Crown of Shadows).
Michael and I are both huge fans of The Dark Tower series from Stephen King which starts with The Gunslinger. Michael did the cover for that (in several incaranations from Grant and Penguin) as well as book 7.
Joan Vinge’s The Snow Queen is excellent. I really liked Paula Volsky’s Illusion too.
If you’re down for long reads, then the Osten Ard books by Tad Williams starting with The Dragonbone Chair and The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson
Incarnations of Immortality by Piers Anthony. The Elric books by Michael Moorcock. The Pern books from Anne McCaffrey. The list goes on and on…
