Q:I blame you for making me want to be an illustrator. Yes! BLAME! If I hadn't stumbled across your work in the first Dark Tower book when I was an impressionable middle-schooler, I never would have gone to art school and instead I would have become a high profile divorce attorney or a bizillionaire Wall Street exc. with a Scrooge McDuck-style vault of gold coins to swim in. But in all seriousness I've loved your work for a long time and I was thrilled to see your display at IlluXcon a while back!

Thanks Amanda!  Glad to hear Michael has turned another to the path of the beam and the way of the illustrator.

To give a little background on IlluXCon, it’s an event dedicated to the art of the fantastic that takes place in Pennsylvania every fall (now in Altoona).  There’s another, Spectrum Fantasy Art Live, held in Kansas City in the spring.  Both are great opportunities to see Michael’s art in person and chat with the artist himself.
