Wow! We started the Kickstarter with Gremlins and we’re moving on to some really special works as original art rewards for BEYOND SCIENCE FICTION. These were just added this morning as we enter week 3 of the campaign.

Stretch reward for $50k announced

Baby Tatoo Books is adding a cloisonné lapel pin (still being designed based on Michael Whelan’s sigil) for backers of $10 of more. The campaign also reached 500 backers. As a thank you, the same backers will soon be receiving an exclusive a holiday card featuring ASTRAL MUSE!

We’re closing in on 60k with the next stretch goal unlocked at 75k, and we expect to add more original art rewards soon.

The Kickstarter for BEYOND SCIENCE FICTION: THE ALTERNATIVE REALISM OF MICHAEL WHELAN just passed the 50k stretch goal in the first week of the campaign!

5 new original art rewards have been added to the campaign this morning.

These rewards not only include framed Michael Whelan originals, but also the limited edition hardcover x2 (both covers) plus the ebook edition, a large giclee of IN HER OWN WORLD, 8x10 mini prints of THE DARK TOWER: THE LONG ROAD (the limited edition print is officially sold out!) and THE ASTROPHYSICIST, a set of exclusive 5x7 postcards, 2 tickets to an exclusive party with Michael Whelan and a preview of the show, and more.
